Hacker News Front Page + More Reviews Coming In

Wow, its been quite an exciting couple of days since I launched ThemeFurnace so I thought I’d just give a general update on what’s been going on.

Firstly, my post about the ThemeFurnace launch hit the Hacker News homepage almost straight away which was great – those are the sort of posts I like reading from there so I guessed it might do well. As you can see from this stats screenshot, HN sends quite a bit of traffic in a short amount of time so my poor server struggled to cope for a while. Luckily I use a cache plugin so the site remained up.

We’ve been getting quite a bit of press, so I thought I’d link up some articles about ThemeFurnace.

Thanks to everyone who blogged and tweeted about ThemeFurnace – very much appreciated!

Im just finishing off the design for a new theme which will be released this month, I posted a small teaser on dribbble :

This will be a nice and clean blogging theme which will make use of Post formats.

    And tell me something, where did you get the name “Capiton” from?

    It’s stil puzzling me :)
